Solution. So now I know what the problem is, what is the solution and there seems to be a few possibilities. 1. The low pressure fuel pump. If this is failing, then (I think) it does not pump enough fuel to engine, so not enough is returned and there is not enough flow to move fuel across.
BMW E46 320D Battery Replacement. My 5 year old battery is dying, and I'm looking for a replacement. When this one was fitted, the car wasn't mine yet. There's also no label on the top with some details. Therefore, I wanted to know the recommended amperage and CCA (and possibly other values) for my car. It's a 2000 BMW E46 320D (136 cv).

Important! Some BMW 3 Series (E92, E93, E90, E91) vehicles might be equipped with an IBS (Intelligent Battery Sensor) system. That means, newly replaced battery must be registered by your Service center. Avoiding battery registration might cause power management system failure, as well as incorrect readings on the display of the on-board computer.
My 330d is at the BMW shop as we speak exactly for a battery change. Dealer price for a battery would be around 350€, even at non-BMW repair shops. Shopped around online and purchased a Varta 95Ah 850A AGM battery for 180€ shipped including the 7,50€ return deposit. Went to BMW dealer to get it installed, they didn't blink an eye.
It will then use the battery at slow speeds or when parking/manoeuvring to improve consumption. BMW F11 535i Touring. Join Date: Mar 2007 F30 330e, Boxster S
If the battery is full, it can briefly support the 190 hp four-cylinder turbo via overboost. Compared to an earlier, 42 kilogram lighter 320d touring test car without a mild hybrid on the stopwatch, this brings 0.2 seconds to the sprint to 100 km /h and reduces the test consumption that was already favorable at the time by a further tenth to 6.
re: Recurring electrical problem in my BMW 320d. EDIT: Now solved. As said by a few others earlier, my suspicion falls on a few things. a) fuse (s) that is/are not fixed properly / not firm. b) sensor (s) that are malfunctioning / not firm. c) ECU malfunction and / or caused by bad sensors, wiring etc.
SWow.
